Ep 12 - Adam O'Loughlin on Autism and Police Work

I have to admit, Adam has certainly been one of the most interesting people I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with.

To think that something such as police work as a real and meaningful career path for Autistic and other neurodiverse people is pretty cool.

Adam spills the beans from his perspective on what makes Autistic people at least highly suitable for policing and the ways in which the unique strengths of the Autistic mind can create real value in that environment.

Now I have to apologise for the audio quality, it was just one of those days! We had a fair bit of trouble getting and keeping a decent line in the beginning which we managed to resolve. However I did then lose the last few minutes of audio with Adam.

If you’d like to know more about the police Autism group that Adam is a part of in the UK, then please check out www.npaa.org.uk and you can connect with Adam on Twitter - @autisticcop

If you’re interested in learning more about neurodiversity and how you could be recruiting talented individuals into your organisation I’m offering training and advisory support to make that happen!
